Teen Issues Database Research Assignment

Since it is Homecoming Week, this assignment is meant to be completed entirely in class.  If you are absent, you can still complete it as long as you have internet access.  EBSCO can be accessed from any computer.

The assignment:

            For this project, you will be using the EBSCO database (username:  fuhs;  password:  patron) on the internet to research one of the following issues of your choice.  You will write a 2-3 paragraph research summary that includes a Works Cited page in MLA format as well as absolutely NO PLAGIARISM.  You may choose your topic from among the following topics.  Then, you will find one article about your topic.  In 2-3 paragraphs, summarize the main points of the article in your own words.  If you quote anything directly, be sure to quote correctly by including the person or organization who said the quote.  Here is a list of potential topics:
